How do I change my password for Prime, email and Banner Self-Service?
Prime, Downstate email and Banner Self-Service accounts all use the same username and password. Changing your Downstate password will apply to all three systems.
You can change your password by logging into the Downstate email system. If you can no longer log into your campus email, you can request a password reset by contacting the campus Help Desk (718-270-4357).
After you have successfully logged into your iNotes email account:
Click the Preferences options at the top right.
In the Preferences pop-up window that appears, select the Other tab.
Select the Change internet password option.
Fill in the text boxes: Enter the "OLD password", then enter "New password" twice and then OK
