Blackboard Collaborate is a web meeting application similar to Zoom, WebEx and GoToMeeting.

It is available to all course instructors / students as part of Blackboard Learn.

It is also available as a stand-alone web meeting application.

Student using Blackboard Collaborate

Features include:

  • High-quality audio & video
  • Phone call-in: Meeting participants can call in to meetings via phone to handle audio.
  • Interactive whiteboards
  • Screen, file and application sharing
  • Video recording of lectures for later viewing
  • Viewing/participating from phones or tablets via mobile applications
  • Guest access - users with a link can be admitted by the meeting moderator.
