PLEASE NOTE: SAS and SPSS are installed on most computers in the Medical Library and computer labs.
SPSS: You can install it on your own personal computer and then request a license key. For installation on your Downstate-owned PC, staff will need to do the installation - follow instructions on posting a request in the section below. Students, staff or faculty can download the installer by logging into Blackboard Learn, then scrolling down to locate the "Licensed Software for Downstate Users:" box on the Home page. Once you successfully run the installer, it will ask for an annual license key. Send an email to help@downstate.edu to request your license key. Use the subject line "SPSS: license key (Firstname Lastname)", entering your own name in the parenthesis at the end.
SAS: Currently SAS desktop software is only available for Windows OS computers. Our SUNY license does not include the SAS University Edition; we regret that we are currently unable to provide support assistance on installation or use of that virtualized environment.
